Section Officers (Commercial) Examination

Basic Information regarding Exam
Staff Selection Commission holds a competitive examination for recruitment to the posts of Section Officers (Commercial). in O/O comptroller and Auditor General, Group ‘B’ Non-Gazetted Posts.

Age limit
18 to 27 years (30 years for OBC and 32 years for SC/ST).

Minimum Educational Qualification
Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce of a recognised university CA/ICW A/CS.

Examination Fee
Rs 50/- (No fee for SC/ST/Ex-S/PH).

Plan of Examination

General Note about Examination Scheme
Eligible candidates are called for a Written Test comprising of two papers. Only those who qualify this test will be called for Interview of lOO marks.

1 Paper-I
Subjects – Objective Type consisting of 200 questions.
(a) General Awareness (75 marks), (b) Arithmetical Ability (50 marks)
(c) English (75 marks); Time Allowed: 2 hours (10.00 A.M. to 12.00 Noon)
2 Paper-II

Other Information Regarding Plan of Examination:
NOTE: Paper-II (Conventional paper) will be evaluated in respect of only those candidates who qualify in Paper-I (Objective Type Paper) at the standard which may decided by the Commission at its discretion.
