Section Officers (Audit) Examination

Basic Information regarding Exam
Staff Selection Commission holds a competitive examination for recruitment to the posts of Section Officers (Audit) in the various offices under Comptroller and Auditor General of India. The examination may be held after the gap of several years.

Age limit
18 to 25 years as on specified date.

Minimum Educational Qualification
Must hold a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognised University with 50% marks.

Examination Fee
Rs 50/- (No fee for SC/ST/Ex-S/PH candidates). Fee can be paid in the form of Central Recruitment Fee Stamps/IPOs.

Plan of Examination

General Note about Examination Scheme
The subjects of examination, the time allowed and maximum marks for each subject will be as follows:

1 Paper I
Subjects – Part A: English Language (100 Marks)
Part B: General Awareness (Objective type) (100 Marks)
Duration – 2 Hours
2 Paper II
Subjects – Arithmetic (Conventional type)
Duration – 2 Hours

Details Regarding Selection Procedure

Interivews Test/ Personality Test
Answer sheets of Paper II will be evaluated of only those candidates who secure the minimum qualifying standards in Paper I. Candidates who qualify both the papers will be called for Interview consisting of 100 marks.
