Army Junior Commissioned Officers (Catering)

Basic Information regarding Exam
Applications are invited from eligible candidates for recruitment as Junior Commissioned Officers (Catering) in the Army.

Nationality
The candidate must be:
(i) A Citizen of India, or an Indian Gorkha;
(ii) A displaced person form areas which now form part of Pakistan.

Age limit
Between 21 and 27 years.

Minimum Educational Qualification
The candidate must be in possession of the following qualifications:
(i) 10 +2 with Science;
(ii) Cookery Diploma/Certificate/Course from a recognised Foodcraft Institute.

Physical Standards
Should be medically fit and free from defects likely to stand in the performance of duties as Junior Commissioned Officer (Catering).

How to Apply
Apply in the prescribed format as and when the vacancies are advertised in Leading Newspapers/Employment News usually in the month of May.

Other Information
Eligible candidates will be called for initial screening-cum-written examination. Those qualified in written examination will be called for interview at nominated training Centre.
